Extent of available data.
The 2015 Statewide Summer orthophotography has a 1 meter resolution and was captured as part of the National Agricultural Imagery Program. It originated from the Farm Service Agency (United States Department of Agriculture). There are noticeable color variations between imagery captured during the growing season and after harvest. Orthophotography is extremely useful for determining land use and land cover. Because of this, it can provide important context for specific locations and other spatial data. If multiple years are available, it can also be used to identify changes that take place on the landscape.
