This data layer indicates the boundaries of Voting Precincts. It was developed by the Legislative Coordinating Commission. Voting Precincts are the basic geographical areas in which elections are organized and administered. In towns and cities, they are established and administered by the local governing body, while in unorganized territories, counties serve that role. Precincts have a polling location at which citizens that live within the precinct can vote in local, state, and national elections.
